GREAT TIMES AT NCS!
The National Cartoonist Society meeting in Las Vegas was an awesome time! Nothing beats hanging with your heroes and inspirations.
No smile is big enough when you're talking with Mad magazine legend Jack Davis.

Few people inspired me more to be a cartoonist than Mad magazine legend Sergio Aragones.

LATINO EXPO A SUCCESS
We did it! Thanks to the super efforts of founders and organizers Javier Hernandez and Ricardo Padilla [and their families!], the first Latino Comics Expo was a truly special event! The Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco was a great host and we all had a wonderful time meeting fellow comic fans and hosting panels on creating comics. We're hoping to do it again in May 2012. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks to everyone who showed up for the Victoria College Lyceum Series event! It was supercool meeting all of you! I have to say it was one of the most fun events I've ever done. A special thanks to The Victoria Advocate for all their support as well, including the photo above. Thank you Victoria College!
